Description
About the Minnesota CCW Class:
This full-day class includes all the required instruction to apply for a Minnesota Carry Permit. It does not matter what county you live in, this class meets all qualifications statewide. Additionally, for those who may have an interest in expanding their reciprocity (something we discuss in the class), you will also meet the requirements in this class to apply for your permits in Florida and Arizona.
Students will demonstrate a practical understanding of: the fundamentals of pistol use and firearms safety; the legal aspects and ramifications of pistol possession, carry, and use; introduction into situational awareness and defensive tactics; an overview of applicable state laws; and demonstrate safe pistol usage while achieving defensive accuracy during a live fire shooting qualification.
We will spend appx 5 hours in the class room and 1 hour on the range to perform the live fire shooting qualification. Don’t let this intimidate you, its quite simple and our students have a very high pass rate. You must be 18+ years of age and not be prohibited from possessing a firearm under Minnesota or Federal Law.

What Do You Have To Bring?
If you don’t own a handgun yet you can borrow one of ours at no cost. If you need to borrow gear, please make that request in advance of the class so the instructor can be sure to have sufficient gear for everyone.
For this class you will need the following:
- Government-issued photo ID
- Appropriate clothing for the weather (We will be outdoors)
- A handgun in any caliber along with 2 spare magazines if possible.
- 75 rounds of ammunition for the handgun
- Eye and ear protection (recommended)
- Lunch / Snacks / Water

After the class, you will walk out with a class completion certificate signed by the instructor which you will need to apply. We give you detailed instructions on how to apply for your permit.
