Fundamentals like grip, sight alignment, trigger squeeze, and more are assessed and perfected before moving on to development of the draw, target acquisition, use of cover, and shooting on the move.

Can you handle a pistol but just aren’t happy with your performance? Are you interested in perfecting your draw or simply taking your training game to the next level? If so, then this class is for you.
Pistol Level II is the class for those that know how to operate a pistol but would like to start developing defensive and tactical skills. Fundamentals like grip, sight alignment, trigger squeeze, and more are assessed and perfected before moving on to development of the draw, target acquisition, use of cover, and shooting on the move.
What you can expect:
- Shooting fundamentals reinforcement
- Shooter skill set assessment
- Shooter diagnostics and correction
- Controlled Pair drills
- Shooting under stress
- Perfecting the draw with and without stress
- Tactical and administrative reloads
- Malfunction recovery

This class typically runs three+ hours. Maximum class size is eight (8) people.

The class is held at Mid-Carolina Rifle Club and is geared for no more than 4 students at a time.

Joseph Shahoud has been a handgun enthusiast and an advocate of personal defense his entire adult life. He believes no one should ever be a victim and strives to make a difference one student at a time. He is an NRA Certified Firearms Instructor with certifications in NRA Basic Pistol Shooting, Rifle, and NRA Home Firearms Safety, and holds the required certification by SLED to teach and administer South Carolina Concealed Weapons Permit (CWP) classes.
