Instructor Bio

JD Dooley is a lifelong shooting enthusiast. With law enforcement experience including city police work and state agency. JD has completed extensive training in both law enforcement and civilian firearms use. In addition, JD has experience academic teaching at the college level as well as a multitude of certifications teaching for such organizations as the NRA and American Red Cross. For his company Appalachian Firearms Training, JD offers classes in Concealed Carry, NRA Basic Pistol, NRA First Steps, NRA Gun Safety Seminar and Refuse to be a Victim.
