Jacob S. Paulsen is the President of ConcealedCarry.com. For over 20 years Jacob has been involved as a professional in the firearm industry. He values his time as a student as much as his experience as an instructor with a goal to obtain over 40 hours a year of formal instruction. Jacob is a NRA certified instructor & Range Safety Officer, Guardian Pistol instructor and training counselor, Stop The Bleed instructor, Affiliate instructor for Next Level Training, Graduate and certified instructor for The Law of Self Defense, TCCC Certified, and has been a Glock and Sig Sauer Certified Armorer. Jacob is also the creator of The Annual Guardian Conference which is a 3-day defensive handgun training conference. Jacob has been featured as an expert on USA Today, ABC, NBC, The Huffington Post, The Independent, Motorhome Magazine, The New York Times, and various newspapers, podcasts, and radio shows.

Great class and I loved having Jacob as an instructor. He used modern references to keep the class interesting and informative. Definitely recommend this class to anyone looking to get the CCW permit or if you just want to know about hand guns and safety.
Class was very informational without dragging on. Was able to answer all questions, even ones that were not on the presentation notes. Was able to talk and show beneficial accessory concepts when purchasing for your gun for the first time as well.

I was very pleased with the class and the professionalism shown by Jacob Paulsen. I took the class yesterday with my girlfriend. Myself and my wife took Jacob's class yesterday. I must say Jacob has it all together, has an outstanding knowledge of firearms and presents it to you in a very professional manner. Class was a valuable resource for information on gun safety and matters relating to firearm carry and transport. Jacob Paulsen is a very competent instructor and was able to effectively deal with what was an unexpectedly large class.
I took Jacobs class yesterday,it was fun and very informative. I highly recommend it to anyone along the front range. Three hours went by very quickly and the price was right.

This was a great class by a great instructor. Nothing about it was confusing, all very straight forward and done in a timely manner. I highly recommend this to anyone interested in a CCW!
Good class. Very informative and well planned out. Covered everything necessary for beginners and some good reminders for the more experienced students. Good blend of subject matter. Only safety area not covered would be the importance of correct ammunition. Malfunctions were well covered but nothing on the dangers of incorrect ammo usage. Overall I rate the class as five stars and an A+ for covering all the issues in a short period of time. Comfortable and easy to understand instructor. Good Job.
I really enjoyed your classes yesterday and did learn many things. Being an older women I was a little nervous going to the class by myself but you made me feel very comfortable and at ease. Thanks so much
Great introduction into the world of concealed carry.
I just wanted to thank you again for providing us the necessary info within your classroom so that I maybe a responsible armed citizen in the State of Colorado. I was able to obtain my Colorado CCW permit and received it no less than 2 weeks after I applied for it in person at the Adams County Sheriff's Office. My wife Steffanie whom also was a student in a later class than mine applied for her CO CCW permit today.
Jacob was very knowledgable and professional. Jacob knew is subject matter well enough that is was able to address all levels of students and kept everyone engaged

Jacob definitely knows the subject and covers all aspects of pertinent sections with expertise. Jacob also asks for questions from students throughout the class. Excellent Presentation!

The class was informative and very interesting .my wife who was afraid to touch a gun before feels much more comfortable after the class and now even goes shooting with me. I also plan to have my kids take the class.

Professionally presented class with many good points addressed. There's no substitute for good judgement and safety and Jacob presents that very well in his class without beating you over the head with it. This is an excellent class that is informative for beginners as well as the advanced, don't hesitate taking this class it's worth your time.
I thought the class might have been a little boring. Far from it! Everything was very well explained, and I learned a lot. Jacob answered questions with professionalism, and without talking down to anyone, or making them feel silly for asking a question; in other words, without ego. I got a lot out of it, very glad I attended, and would highly recommend it.
I am renewing my CCW permit and searched for a class that didn't require all the fluff and nonsense of proving that I know how to use a firearm. The class I attend was hosted by Jacob Paulsen. The attendees were from various backgrounds and experience levels. Jacob did a wonderful job of covering the 'need to know' and the practical applications. I highly recommend Jacob's class whether you are a novice and getting your first CCW or experienced.

I loved the class and learned a lot! And in fact I really didn't need to ask many questions because everything that I had questions about before this training was answered for me at this greatly prepared training... I it was a lot fun learning!

Jacob did a fantastic job presenting the concealed carry class. It met all of my expectations and was a great mix of safety, legal information, appropriate gear, training advice as well as mixing in some humor. I appreciated that he stayed after the class to answer some individual questions.
